Professor Howard Davis

This project was the University of Oregon equivalent of a thesis studio. This studio included 16 students, each working on the same site in New York City, though each with our own spirituality for the community center.

I chose “New Judaism” as the spirituality for many reasons. There is a history of Judaism in the East Village and New Judaism is a religion of inclusion.
