I am a full-time Associate Professor in the School of Architecture and Interior Design (SAID) at University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) where I have been teaching since 2006. I taught at the Savannah College of art and Design (SCAD) from 2004-06 and was a Graduate Teaching Assistant while studying at the University of Oregon from 1994-98.
As a faculty member, I seek to connect my students with the opportunities and challenges of architectural practice in a complex, global society. I incorporate real-world projects and engage students in the social, cultural and environmental dimensions of contemporary global architectural practice.
I attempt to inspire students to engage all issues from an informed, global perspective in the creation of design that incorporates innovation, materiality, and beauty at all scales.
I teach design studios, lecture courses and seminars for students spanning from freshman through graduate level.
