A SPIRITUALLY-BASED COMMUNITY CENTER IN THE EAST VILLAGE

This project was the U of O equivalent of a thesis studio. This studio included 16 students, each working on the same site in New York city, though each with our own spirituality for the community center.

I chose New Judaism as the spirituality for many reasons. There is a history of Judaism in the East Village and New Judaism is a religion of inclusion.
